introduction

since 1998, when research began on angry monk productions' current project, ANGRY MONK, we have gathered a significant amount of archival material on this tibetan scholar, including film footage of tibet and india from the 1930s to the 1950s.

although the preliminary research is almost complete, angry monk productions is still looking for certain original materials, which are known to be in existence. these include:

• specific film footage of colonial india (1930-51)
• the lost film on kalimpong's tibet mirror press
• missing issues of melong (the tibet mirror) newspaper
• two paintings by kanwal krishna
